"Better Browsing with FireFox."

Still using Internet Exploder? Try out another web browser that will save you time! Mozilla Firefox is a free alternative to the Microsoft browser used to surf the net. Firefox is very customizable, has many features, and is less virus prone than its counterpart. Once this browser is set up on your machine, you won't believe you ever surf without it!

"Skype Me!"

This session is called "Skype Me!" and will cover how to use the voice over internet phone program called Skype. The session will cover how to install it, if you don't already have it, and how to use some of the features that some users may not know about.

If you have a microphone or headset, please bring it with you. Hope to see you there!

"How to be a Blogger."

The first workshop went very well with over 30 people in attendance. Because it was difficult for some staff members to make it to the high school by 3:00, we will now have the workshop from 3:30 to 4:30 still in Room 101 for the remainder of the year.

Here is the link to what was covered in the first session. http://www.techclub.info/resources.html

The next session will be "How to be a Blogger." It will cover how to create, edit and use blogs in the classroom. Everyone in attendance will make their own blog and get ideas about ways to use them. If you want to jump right in, click HERE for more information.
